Driving Directions

1. From Rt. 287 South
287 South turns  into 440 East.  Continue on 440 East to last exit before Outerbridge Crossing to Staten Island.  Take this State Street exit and follow sign for State St., Perth Amboy.  Once ramp reaches State St., continue through 4 traffic lights (1 mile).  Three blocks after fourth light, make a left onto Center St.  Emmaus House is the 3rd building on the right.  We are directly opposite St. Mary's Church.

2. From NJ Turnpike
Take Exit 10, 440 East - Perth Amboy and Outerbridge Crossing.  Once on 440, follow directions as in #1 above.

3. From Garden State Parkway
Take Exit 127, Woodbridge/Perth Amboy.  Follow signs for 440 (Outerbridge Crossing) and follow directions as in #1 above.

4. From Route 9 North
Go over Edison Bridge (staying in right lane).  After crossing bridge, follow signs to Perth Amboy/440 North (Staten Island).  Follow 440 signs and continue on 440 to State Street.  Follow directions as in #1 above.

5. From Route 9 South
Follow signs for 440 (Outerbridge Crossing) and follow State St. signs as in #1 above.

6. From Staten Island
Take Outerbridge Crossing to the first exit - Amboy Avenue.  Go up to light, make a left and go the end of the street.  Make a left at the traffic light onto New Brunswick Avenue.  At the 2nd light (a tire store will be on the left) there will be 3 converging streets.  Take the middle street a very short distance to the next light.  At that light, make a left onto State Street.  At the 1st side street (short distance), make a right onto Center Street.  Emmaus House is located on the right (3rd Building) directly opposite of St, Mary's Church.

7. From Goethals Bridge
Take Turnpike South to Exit 10.  Take Exit 10, 440 East - Perth Amboy and Outerbridge Crossing.  Once on 440, follow directions as in #1 above.
